Translating stamps

Wellington, New Zealand (Post): New Zealand Post has done the hard yakka to launch an interactive range of stamps celebrating Kiwiana and uniquely New Zealand turns of phrase. The `Classic Kiwi' range of stamps was launched in front of the Beehive by NZ Post board chairman Jim Bolger yesterday. The range of 20 stamps, selling for 50 cents each, shed light on sayings common to Kiwis, but possibly confusing for new arrivals or visitors. They feature a heat-sensitive black strip that, when rubbed, reveals a translation.
