New Delhi, India (Economic Times): The country’s e-government initiative faces a language barrier. Experts have not been able to establish an interface between the English and local language software. The centre had made software in 15 languages available for the effective implementation of the e-governance programmes. It is in the process of introducing the packages in remaining seven official languages; Kashmiri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sindhi, Bodo, Dogri and Santhali in the next few months.
