Google goes local in India

New Delhi, India (CBR): A Google spokesperson told local media the company expects online growth to generate outside of large cities, where people are mostly comfortable using Indian languages. The new technology can be found on an Indian version of Google Labs. It includes an Indic On-Screen Keyboard iGoogle Gadget that lets users type search queries in 14 Indian languages by using a mouse to choose letters from an on-screen keyboard.
