Software developed to transcribe Hindi speech into text form

New Delhi, India (PTI): For the first time, a software has been developed in the country to transcribe Hindi speech into text form instantly. The software, 'Shrutlekhan-Rajbhasha', was unveiled today by Home Minister Shivraj Patil at a function on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Developed by Pune-based Centre for the Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the software helps a Hindi speaker get the transcript in Hindi Unicode text form instantly.
