SpeechEasy, solution to stuttering?

Missouri, USA (News Leader): Sherri Smith, speech pathologist at Sound Advice Hearing and Speech Institute said the SpeechEasy uses altered auditory feedback, which uses an echo to aid the user in speaking. Using a combination of delayed auditory feedback and frequency altered feedback, the person hears his or her own voice in a different pitch, slightly delayed to slow the communicator's speaking down and lessen the chances of stuttering.
