New software to promote indigenous culture in Chile’s schools

Santiago, Chile (S Times): Children from 162 schools in Chile are to benefit from new software that will educate them in the languages of their ancestors from the Mapuche, Aymara and Atacameña indigenous cultures. Around 6,500 children in rural schools will be able to use the software, developed as part of the Education Ministry’s Bilingual Program for Intercultural Education (PEIB).
