New Trojan virus detected
|
| |
Toronto, Canada (Globe and Mail): Security experts at McAfee and SophosLabs have issued alerts of a new Trojan virus called Troj/BagleD1-L that was discovered today after being deliberately spammed around the world. The Trojan arrives as an e-mail message, which includes a ZIP attachment. When opened, the attachment includes a program file named "doc — 01.exe" or "prs — 03.exe", or some other innocuous sounding name.
Two suggestions: subscribe to an effective antivirus program, such as MacAfee, and never open e-mail with attached files from people you don’t know.
