Melbourne, Australia ( Sydney Morning Herald): Melbourne-based Adacel Technologies has been developing voice-recognition systems for the past 10 years. It is involved in developing software for Joint Strike Fighters, a new breed of military aircraft that will roll out over the next 20 years.
One area where the software is proving useful beyond those who hate typing and those who enjoy barking instructions, is in the area of disabilities.
