The prosecution objected to a request by the defence to provide an Arabic translation of the article in English, that condemned the accompanying crossed-out and obscured images of the cartoons. The prosecutor argued that the accusation rested only on the issue of alleged publication of the insulting Danish cartoons, and that the accompanying articles were therefore not part of the case.
