Melbourne, Australia (The Age): In the first case of its kind, a Melbourne mother is suing the State Government for discrimination against her teenage daughter, who was refused help for a severe language disability.
Anja Turner says her daughter Rebekah, 13, has fallen three years behind in her education because she cannot get classroom help for her receptive language disorder, despite repeated expert assessments supporting her case.
