UN translator obtains asylum in Canada

Toronto, Canada (Anglican Journal): Sanja Pecelj came to Canada from Kosovo in 2000 to work as a United Nations translator at the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre in Cornwallis, N.S., and applied for refugee status saying she feared being killed if she went back to Kosovo since she had worked for the UN. The debate over her future has finally been decided after 441 days of hiding.
