Mistrial due to translation

Texas, USA: In a rare trial over the false reporting of a crime, a mistrial was declared Wednesday in the case of a Mexican immigrant accused of falsely crying rape. Jurors told attorneys afterward that they had been split 4-2 in favor of convicting the woman. They said her videotaped interviews, translated by Spanish-language interpreters, were difficult to understand, causing jurors to interpret them differently.
