Alaska, USA (SitNews): Linguists are squabbling over the origins of human language, and one of the bits of evidence they're batting back and forth is a fascinating gene called FOXP2. Tracing the evolution of language is a huge challenge; we're not going to find fossils. But we may find the evidence written in our own cells.
