Developments in learning disorders

Islamabad, Pakistan (Daily Times): Four learning disabilities in children and adolescents – dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyslalia and dyspraxia – are still part of the vocabulary of Pakistani schools, academic counselors and concerned people. However, these four terms are not frequently mentioned in recent diagnostic manuals. There is a need to bring the current diagnostic terminology to the attention of those in the field of education.
