Cambridge, UK: According to Cambridge University archaeologist Paul Mellars in last week's issue of "Nature", genetic research has brought to light a crucial FOXP2 gene endowed Homo Sapiens with greater language abilities than those present in other species and may also have helped drive Neanderthals to extinction.
