Kentucky, USA (Henderson Gleaner): In the 16th Century, Buddhist lexicographer Saddhammakitti listed Pali words of one letter in a work called "Ekakkharakosa." Craig Conley has done one better. Although there are only 26 letters in the English alphabet, he says "My research shows that they stand for 1,000 distinct units of meaning." In fact, Craig's own favorite letter, "X," has 76 distinct uses.
