Cardiff, UK (ic Wales): The Celtic Encyclopedia is son to be published as an element of the Celtic Languages and Cultural Identity project. An international research team including Germans, Americans, Welsh and Irish has compiled more than 1,300 entries by 300 leading Celtic scholars. The 11-volume series, A Social History of the Welsh Language, still remains the only multi-volume social history of a minority language in the world, according to Professor Geraint H Jenkins, director of the project.
