Taiwan: Switch to Hanyu Pinyin will cost NT$216 million

Taipei, Taiwan (eTaiwan News): The Kaohsiung City government estimates that it will require NT$216 million (US$6.7 million) to convert its public signs to Hanyu Pinyin, the most common standard Mandarin romanization system, an official of the southern port city said Tuesday.
