Funding consortia in the EU
|
| |
Budapest, Hungary ((EUCenter): The new instruments of the 2007-2013 budgetary period for building a stronger Europe are more substantial than ever before, and have required a profound restructuring of the entire funding mechanism of the EU. New programmes have been launched, others have been terminated, unified or replaced. Throughout these reforms, the need for simplification and decentralization have been among the most important driving forces, and as a result, the EU has accepted a concentrated and simplified budgeting and funding policy. These changes will simplify the application, evaluation and monitoring procedures in all forthcoming programmes.
