SDL results for the first half of 2006 should exceed expectations
London, UK (LSE): UK translation software developer SDL said results for the first half of 2006 would likely exceed expectations, bolstered by the takeover of US rival Trados. Shares were up 10 at 195. SDL said pretax profits for the six months to the end of June would be at least 5 mln stg, a 43 pct improvement on last year, as revenues for the period rose 32 pct to around 45 mln, said the group in a trading update.
