Academy chairperson Pradhan Gurudatta told reporters that this year’s awardees were Mahamahopadhyaya N Ranganatha Sharma, V Nagaraja Rao, Prof Maaheer Mansoor, Dr H S Parvathi and Dr D S Chowgale. The Academy is honouring them for their contribution to the field of translation.
