One of them is John Felstiner, professor of English, teacher of modern poetry, Jewish literature and literary translation. He earned a doctorate at Harvard University and joined the Stanford faculty in 1965 and also has taught at the University of Chile, Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Yale University.
